Who we are
We are an independent education platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for UAE University, the National Institute for Health Specialties (NIHS), the Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DoH), Dubai Health or the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), Emirates Health Services (EHS) or any other authority. EMREE is administered by NIHS at UAE University; registration, results and official decisions happen only on official websites.
We do not register candidates for the exam, submit residency applications, or influence results or selection in any way.
What we offer
- Exam information: plain-English guides to the EMREE exam, including eligibility, registration, dates, fees, pattern and results, with links to the official pages they are based on.
- Practice questions: an EMREE MCQ bank of original single-best-answer clinical vignettes, organised by the seven disciplines in the official Nov 2025 blueprint.
- Mock exams: timed mock exams that mirror the official pace of 120 questions in three hours.
- Study resources: a study guide, 30, 60 and 90-day plans, the official reading list and free downloads.
- Residency guidance: guides to UAE residency covering the separate DoH, Dubai Health and EHS pathways.
Who our content is for
Our resources are written for:
- final-year medical students and recent graduates planning to sit EMREE;
- doctors working in the UAE who want to enter residency training;
- international medical graduates considering UAE residency, who need to understand credential evaluation, English tests and the different rules of each authority;
- doctors returning to study after a break, for whom a structured plan matters most.
We write in clear international English, so the content is accessible whether or not English is your first language. Clinical terms follow standard usage, and we use UK spelling for discipline names such as Paediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynaecology, matching the official blueprint.
How we work with official sources
Exam rules, fees and dates change from cycle to cycle, and third-party sites often repeat outdated or unverified claims. Our approach:
- We base exam and residency facts only on official sources: the EMREE exam board site, the official blueprint, the NIHS service page, and the DoH, Dubai Health/MBRU and EHS residency pages.
- Every information page lists its sources and shows a “last verified” date.
- Where an official source is silent, for example on negative marking or the next cycle’s dates, we say so instead of guessing.
- Where official sources disagree, we say which we follow and why.
- We do not present the Abu Dhabi, Dubai and EHS pathways as identical, because their rules differ.

How we write practice questions
Our questions are written from scratch to the official content outline and competency table. They are never recalled, leaked or copied exam questions, and we do not buy or accept such material. Each question has an explanation of the correct answer, a reason why each alternative is wrong, key learning points and references to current guidelines or standard texts. Questions go through clinical review, and each one shows its review status. Our initial seed questions are currently awaiting clinical review, and we label them as such.
What we cannot promise
No preparation resource can guarantee that you pass EMREE or obtain a residency place, and we do not make that claim. Pass marks are set by the exam board through standard setting (60% for EMREE in the 2025-26 cycle), and residency selection is decided by each authority using its own criteria. What we can offer is accurate information, well-built practice and a clear plan. Please read our educational disclaimer.
Accuracy and corrections
If you find an error, an outdated fact or a question you believe is wrong, please tell us through our contact page or the report option on the question. We check every report against official sources or current clinical guidance, correct confirmed errors, and update the page’s last-verified date. Significant corrections to exam information are noted on the page concerned. Our aim is simple: every candidate who relies on this site should be working from the most accurate information available.
