EMREE Custom Exam Builder: Create Tests Around Your Weak Areas

Once you know your weak areas, the most efficient study is targeted practice. Our custom exam builder lets you create EMREE tests from exactly the material you need, using the same structure as the official Nov 2025 blueprint: discipline, outline topic, competency and difficulty. It is included in the Standard and Premium plans. EMREE UAE is an independent preparation platform. We are not affiliated with UAE University, NIHS, DoH Abu Dhabi, Dubai Health/DHA, EHS or any other authority.

Example custom tests

  • “Management under pressure”: all disciplines, Pharmacologic Therapies and Non-pharmacologic Management, moderate and difficult, 40 questions, timed.

  • “Second chances”: every question you previously answered incorrectly, mixed subjects, timed.
  • “Acute care sweep”: Internal Medicine Acute Care with Surgery Trauma & Acute Care, 25 questions.

Why target competencies as well as subjects

The blueprint weights competencies as well as disciplines. Diagnoses & Investigations is the largest at 25–30%, and the two management competencies together account for 30–40%. Some candidates know the diseases well but lose marks choosing the next investigation or the first-line treatment. Filtering by competency shows whether your weakness is a subject or a type of decision, and lets you practise that skill across every discipline.

Using the builder well (our recommendations)

  1. Start from data: use your full-length mock or subject results to pick topics, rather than guessing.
  2. Keep sets focused: one to three topics per test makes patterns in your errors easier to see.
  3. Learn, then test: tutor mode for a new weakness, timed mode to confirm it is fixed.
  4. Recycle mistakes with the “incorrect” filter a week later to check retention.
  5. Return to balance: after targeted work, go back to mixed timed practice so other areas do not slip.

Who benefits most

  • Candidates with one or two clear weak areas, for example Public Health calculations or paediatric endocrinology, who need concentrated practice rather than more mixed sets.
  • Retake candidates, who can use their official discipline percentages from the EMREE statement of results to choose where to start.
  • Busy clinicians, who can build short 10–15 question sets that fit between shifts while still targeting the highest-value topics.
  • Final-week revisers, who want to recycle only bookmarked or previously incorrect questions.

If you are just starting out, begin with the free diagnostic and subject tests; the builder is most useful once you have some results to act on.

How the builder fits with other test types

The custom exam builder sits between learning and simulation. Subject-specific tests help you learn a discipline; timed practice tests build pace; full-length mocks measure overall readiness. The builder is where you act on what those tests show you: turn a weak result into a short, focused set, repeat it until the topic is secure, and then return to mixed practice. Used this way, each mock leads to a specific plan rather than just a score.

Plans and access

The custom exam builder, bookmarks, weak-area practice and study plans are included in Standard (AED 199 for 90 days) and Premium (AED 299 for 180 days). Premium also adds advanced analytics, extended practice sets and priority support. Starter (AED 99 for 30 days) covers all seven subject banks with tutor and timed modes. VAT is applied at checkout where applicable. See the pricing page. All questions are original practice items mapped to the official blueprint, not real exam questions. Practice scores are a guide to your readiness, not a prediction of your EMREE result, and no mock test can guarantee a pass.
